Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information Apple provides (name and email, per your preference).

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including lessons completed, vocabulary practiced, streaks, XP earned, and CEFR level progress. This data is used to personalise your learning experience.

Device information: We may collect basic device identifiers and operating system version to ensure compatibility and diagnose issues.

Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store your payment card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the App and its features
• To sync your progress across devices
• To personalise content and learning recommendations
• To send important notices about your account or subscription
• To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the learning experience

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase – Authentication and database hosting
• Apple – Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchases, and App Store distribution
• ElevenLabs – Neural text-to-speech for Portuguese audio content
• Google Firebase – Analytics and crash reporting

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your account and personal data
• Data portability

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above or through a notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
